SEO and Affiliate Marketing: Does that even work?
Long, long, long time ago if a marketer wanted a long-term sustainable online business his or hers, number one traffic source was Google. Okay, maybe that was barely 6+ years ago, but in Internet time that’s very long.
You see, back in the day you didn’t have as many options to promote affiliate products like we have today. Especially nothing that you can get the proper ROI for longer than a month except for SEO.
You had ads, like Adwords, but by that time Google was banning affiliate marketing, Adword’s accounts left and right. Facebook advertising was nothing as near as it is today and many other advertising platforms required you to be in a whale or pay a big deposit before you could advertise.
On the other hand, search engine optimization offered a low cost entry point into the world of online marketing and its profits. Which was both appealing and more importantly extremely profitable.
However, did SEO golden days come to an end?
Not really, like everything else it evolved. You see, once it became too popular people started to over saturate certain niches. For example, payday loans, pharmaceutics, insurance, credit cards, casinos and so on.
The sudden rush of new and usually low-quality sites in those particular markets forced Google to make changes. After that, they started to care about the quality over quantity.
Which of course, resulted in people that could barely follow at three steps process starting to say search engine optimization was dead. One thing led to another and some people still believe that SEO is indeed dead.
One of the main things why SEO has been underground for most of these years is the release of new and simpler and platforms. Which resulted in most of the new people joining the internet marketing space to go after ads.
The fact that 9/10 gurus create or promote systems and courses based on paid ads hasn’t helped to make SEO popular.
Search engine optimization making a comeback?
The truth is, it never went away. Most people that stayed in SEO are in it until this day. Just because something is not as popular doesn’t mean it doesn’t work.
You can argue, that paid advertising is a better business for selling courses. It goes back to the proverb “give a man a fish, and you will feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you will feed him for a lifetime. Once you learn proper SEO adjusting to the changes and evolution of it will not cause you many problems.
Does Digital Worth Academy by Sara Young and Andrew Hansen do that?
Look inside Digital Worth Academy
After going through the course and supportive material, I have to say Sara and Andrew created one of them most comprehensive SEO course in the last few years.
Unlike others systems where they focus on huge authority sites that can take years to build out or worse doing fishy tactics to gain Google, DWA made things simple.
In fact, it can be summarized in three steps
- fine a low comp niche in big markets
- create a simple blog and build it out
- use SEO to gain traffic
What’s even more interesting is that you can then flip that blog for 30 to even 40 times your monthly income. This is because I blog with organic traffic will produce income long term after you stop doing SEO if done correctly.
That’s why people are willing to pay up to five years worth of your monthly income for your site. Who would pay that much for a site that’s getting all of their sales to paid traffic?
Let’s get into the course itself
- The course is broken down into seven sections over 30 modules on how to build, rank, profit and grow or flip your blog.
- You get 10 weeks of life coaching with Sarah Andrew and their team that will help you with any troubles or concerns you might have. On top of that, you get one-on-one chat, support desk, and forum.
- Plus you get resources like commission wizard 2.0 software, diamond keyword miner loss, profit calculator and outsource staff.
